It's a 'big 2' now and whilst they could have put us to bed earlier, we've just come very close to taking points off one of them.

We're on track so far points wise, don't lose on Saturday and we're doing fine.

I call that a Sol Campbellism from a World Cup game where literally seconds after I’d been slagging him of to some tune he rose like a salmon (not Sammon note) and powered home a header to equalise for England followed by “like I said first name on the teamsheet” from me

It really does look like we’re going to have a win, lose and draw type of season. As we stand so far we’ve lost 3 drawn 3 won 2. So to keep this pattern ticking along nicely a win against Arsenal would be a very satisfactory target for the lads.

One of the surprising features of this season is how many points the Big Six are 'throwing away' against unfancied teams. Today it is Newcastle and West Ham gaining an unexpected bonus. It is likely that the number of points needed to stay up this season will be high.
