Will Osula

Osula will be a beast in a few years we need to tie him down and get some bloody creative players in behind him.

What we are missing is creative/flair players that can create something out of nothing and get our strikers in the game.

He needs to be playing working on his skills. Having chances against people his own level.

What will he learn today? Guehi and Anderson hammered the poor lad all over. Yes he was bright and it’s not his fault.

Look at the city lads they drop down the leagues to get experience (Doyle & Mcatee) and then they are squad players.

Need players and quick.

Plenty of other young players are now staying at big clubs and making the grade that way. Foden and Alexander Arnold spring to mind. I would have him ahead of Brewster jebbo and Benie at the moment.

So you’ve compared Osula who scored 2 in 16 in League one to Foden. Foden didn’t often start and only just started making an impact as a first team player.

Comparing to what we have is no good. It’s what we need that is important.

If you watch him in the youth league he knows where the net is. He just needs to work a bit on his composure. He will be a great great player. Anyone who was saying we should get rid need to watch another sport.

Yes. Not directly but you can develop players in house. I have seen enough from Osula to think he's worth keeping in house and if we sign one or two strikers he's not a awful option from the bench. You clearly don't remember the number of calls for Foden to go out on loan from a lot of people? Didn't hurt him much did it?
 

Hes like Bambi on ice, didn`t do well today but had no service, our only outlet was pump it up to him then feed off the scraps hopefully this will change when the new signings have settled in, (and maybe 1 or 2 more)
 
He shouldn't be in the team really, so I can't criticise him. At times the lad had 3 Palace players on him for every header when a ball was chipped up to him.

He looks promising and in an ideal world he should be out on loan.

Yeah should’ve phrased it better he’s still on the pro deal he signed whilst in the academy so his wages will be comparable to his other colleagues who haven’t seen the increase in squad status that he has.

Players should be rewarded for their progression.

He can only develop by playing against good defenders every week,once he gets a better midfield behind him then it’s up to him. The talent is there and could have had 2 today,him and Beni were living off scraps today,they both did ok.

Agree, if he's starting for us in the premier league, he shouldn't be in the last 12 months of a contract t.

Once we make the determination that they’re good enough for an EFL loan a new contract should be forthcoming before they go on the loan seems to be standard practice elsewhere.

Blaster should’ve got one this summer before going to Port Vale
 
The only complaint I have with Jebbo and Osula ID they don't really seem to have a good grasp of the basics.

They look the part, are quick and promise a lot but neither can hold the ball up or look like natural finished.

We have ro give them time, and I really hope they can fulfil their promise but they have to learn how to protect the ball and do the hard yards.

You’d hope we’d learn from giving Ndiaye a pittance and then asking him to carry us from an attacking sense for a season. It’s ok though because some fans can act all upset when Osula shows no loyalty as well and feathers his own nest.
