Does anybody know any team news ahead of the Wales v England match today??
I wondered if our Ched would play any part against the Mighty England?
If he did, i could see him tearing the English defence to fookin shreds!!!!!!!;)

Doctor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If he plays i'd stick him on Terry and he stands a chance to run him ragged.

But... Speed never got the best out of him so its unlikely he'll have much of a game

C'mon Speedo wake up!
30 mins gone, 2-0 down!
There's only one man who can save the taffs now!!

Dunno about anyone else but Chris Coleman is doing my head in and is also showing a complete lack of understanding of what Speedo is trying to do. Against a vastly superior team.

Typical antiquated hoof it Clown who has no business managing the local pub team.

Watching it as a Wales fan, this is feeling very much like the sort of Speed performance I've witnessed at the Lane this season. Defence all at sea, passing it about with little purpose, chasing the game while persisting with 1 up front, few chances on goal. Obviously Wales were underdogs from the start, but I expected much more of a fight. James Collins is having a bit of a Robert Page esque performance. Quite why Speed thinks Bellamy is better running at Ashley Cole than John Terry is anyone's guess. Little point bringing Ched on unless there is a change in formation.

Ched did reasonably well I thought - Wales's best spell (relatively speaking of course) was after he and Vaughan came on. Helped win a couple of corners, turned Johnson and got fouled resulting in a booking.

Well, I only caught the second half of that - both teams looked devoid of plan, ref's had a stinker, England never threatened, Wales threw away chance after chance and corner after corner... Ched looked like he fit right into this Wales squad - running around like a headless chicken hoping for it to fall nicely for him.

Wales = United early season. Speed has an idea about how he wants things to work. Unfortunately he hasn't had/got players good enough to do it.

England = awful. Forget the result, that last hour was boring as hell. 2-0 against a poor Wales side, we played out time and settled for it. Why? Get the Italian bumbler out now.

The best side in England for the last two decades have been Manchester United. Do they sit back at 2-0 against crap sides? No. They go on and hammer them 4/5/6-0. I can understand holding out against top sides but not poor ones. Ferguson wouldn't have told the team to take a step back there. We need a similar manager to him - maybe Redknapp or even Holloway or Warnock? They'd not sit back at 2-0.

Rubbish, Capello, rubbish. Professional performance? Woopee frigging doo.

Exactly right Wombwell. The two international sides we should be looking to emulate in terms of set up and style - Spain and Germany - would have caned that Welsh team. We should not be afraid to show our power. I think it's always been something that comes across in the England team, especially against smaller nations. Every time we play someone we should be beating handsomely, we're too afraid to beat them comprehensively and I don't know why.

Get the Italian bumbler out now.

So we can overpay the next man in order to prove that, as ever, we have a very average bunch of incredibly over rated players. Even after the multi title winning Capello's had a crack, the penny just never drops.

UTB

alco's right. To slag Capello off is a joke. One of the best managers of all time, FACT. Jesus Christ himself could manage this lot and still win fuck all.
English fans want Capello's head and then call for the likes of Harry Redknapp, or, Sam Allardyce etc...
I know it's all based on opinions, but, what would Sir Alex do with our average footballers?? No better or worse methinks.
There has to be a realisation that we're not world beaters and never will be IMO.:)

It was a typical Speed tactical nightmare. Not one shot on target and very few chances. Front man isolated midfield negative. Just like warching Utd and why we are in the shit at this stage of the season. Wales will go backwards under Speed. Thought Ched did ok when he came on but as a centre forward he doesn't look like he know what he is doing. Takes up positions while offside and runs into blind alleys where he cannot receive the ball. Lack of experience? No football brain? Not sure.

England players took their foot off the gas at 2-0 so they could cruise through the rest of the game. I thought they were saving themselves for thier premier league and European games. No need to bust a gut against a Wales team that couldn't score. Played within themselves - nothing more. Tedious game from a set of self centred, overpaid tossers who couldnt give a flying f**k about you or I.
