Yes but you said Wilson was the most overrated player you'd ever seen which is why bringing Hammond up was relevant, even though he's not a Wilder signing.
 
There is a long list of Bad signings made by the recruitment team. This includes Wilder but is not exclusive to him.

Hindsight is amazing but isn't at anyones disposal. The real measure of bad recruitment is how you deal with it.

We have a strict recruitment policy which means we have to take a large number of chances this results in some real failures but our success rate is ridiculous and how we deal with the failures is also very impressive, we don't dwell if its clear the face doesn't fit they're gone. and if we can make a profit which we seem to be doing then even better.

Id trust Wilder to make the most of any budget he is ever given from administration level to Man City level.
