Got to be looked at closely this one, got to be the loan of Wilson from Man Poo for me.

Hussey has got to be right at the top of the list somewhere.

Heneghan too? Although I suppose he was signed as a development player but still hasn't worked out yet and looking like it probably won't.

Hussey for me. I'm not sure I can pass judgement on Heneghan as I don't think I've actually ever seen him play...

At least Hussey gave us a couple of decent assists, but yes he is certainly part of the Blades all time duffers team, if maybe not in the first 11 then certainly in the extended squad.

Personally I agree with BigBed that Wilson from Man U was much worse, and promised much more on his arrival. Hussey was always a punt on a league 2 player, which often won't work out.

I’d go for James Wilson too. We pinned quite a bit of hope on him and he was garbage with an awful attitude to boot. Completely spineless.

Nobody from the January Transfer Window was a success, they all go into the pile of “bad signings.”

Anybody else that hasn’t worked out was fairly low risk, speculate to accumulate stuff - so I wouldn’t put them high on the list.

It's got to be Lundstram for me. Never been good enough and it's just been a long slow death for the lad.

Look at the first two games of the season when he played, then the subsequent games. That's how his career here has been; costing us loads of points by weakening the midfield.

He was expensive and he's been detrimental to the team whenever he's played but managing to get by and prolonging the agony.

We’ve had Few misses - January windows have been pretty poor tbf

Thomas, Holmes, hussey, Hanson, caruthers , Henegan were all unessecary or not good enough

But to be fair when you’re shopping in the bargain bin your not gonna get a star every time and wilder has been quick to ship out when it becomes clear it ain’t working

I did.

But I blinked and missed what others tell me was the most valuable of contributions. The only one !

I’m such a silly Sally !!!!

UTB

Hang your hat on “that”, if you must.

Maybe it was just me, but that Peterborough game is one of the most memorable games of the season, it was an important win and he made an invaluable contribution.

There were other games as well where he had an impact, so for that reason, I can't believe you think he's part of the conversation for Wilder's worst signing.

Ricky Holmes.

This.

Loans sometimes work (Jon Harley being the 'best' loan signing I've seen us make) and sometimes don't.

But Holmes was a seemingly long time target and offered the sum total of nothing, without the benefit of us being able to send him back at the end of the season.
