His insistence on playing Berge in that position is starting to get on my tits now. We’ve looked completely ineffective even before lockdown when he’s played there. Either stick him in his correct position or leave him on the bench and let him play his way into the side.

To be fair to Egan whilst the 2nd yellow was a yellow card all day (and caused by his own indecision) the first yellow was ridiculous. What exactly did he do wrong to warrant that first yellow? Only the Newcastle player pushed someone and put his head out to Egan. What is Egan supposed to do, fall on the floor? It was shite refereeing to book him in tbe first half, but then he must have known that he had to be very careful for the remainder of the game. Unfortunately, he wasn't.

Agree he was unlucky but he doesn't normally get involved with childish situations like that when you move forwards like he did
it leaves you open to a booking .Totally out of charactor ,does he think he's made it? cus he has'nt, he's normally very laid back.
