The chance of a new expansive new approach has been blown by COH due to their woeful appt of Selles! Right now we need stability, leadership & structure. We need to start grinding out results to get out of trouble. Wilder is ironically perfect for this challenge……plus he will have no money to spend - which also a good thing as he does much better with a low budget/wheeling dealing.

The main issue is they appointed the wrong person. I wouldn’t say I’m pro or anti wilder but if you are removing a manager you have to make sure it’s the right replacement. We got the results last season with some insipid performances but you can’t argue that you don’t get to where we got over the season by fluke. I still believe it’s the off field antics that were Chris’s downfall

Think you have grandiose ideas Hacky. I know we all have a dislike for Wednesday but pub team is stretching it. Yes beating them is a massive highlight if they are in same division. It’s a big Derby and I feel sorry if you don’t get a kick from a Derby win - for me it’s a great feeling.

It’s just bad around, I get where you’re coming from but I have a friend who knows Alan Knill pretty well & he has no interest in being the main man (if that’s what you’re suggesting).

Going back in for Wilder is a backwards move now, there’s definitely an argument for he should have never been sacked & when you look at where we are now it’s hard to disagree.

CW was on the whole wonderful and I for one am very appreciative of what he did for our club . But to bring him back for the third time would demonstrate just how basic and backwards we are .
