Once a Blade, always a daft ****
Don't let it bother you mate, I don' believe for a minute that anything that has or hasn't happened n the boardroom has had an effect on the players.

Must say i cant remember the last time i heard such a prolonged bollocking. Like wilder has given because he hasnt calmed down at all. sounds just as angry today as he did friday. For once im glad im not a sheff utd player because i guess its been tense few days & if i was a player we get a repeat of hull. Then i would bypass the dressing room because teacups really will be flying.
But how did we go so quickly from a really comfortable 2nd gear win (albeit 1st 65mins not last 25) to this predicament 3 days later where we are worried wilder is off in summer. Arguing with the board
If you get to go, the room is split into around six sections.
Those on the front few rows gaze at Kev lovingly, applauding like North Korean generals. Directly behind them are the mumblers, grumblers and tutters. That's all they do apart from one or two who still ask about the Freehold. Then there's one row where the sensible people who ask questions relevant to the meeting sit.
Behind them are two rows where the "We Loved Dick Wragg, wouldn't waste our money, bloody new stand, bring cricket back" brigade in one row, and the"Let's dig Dick Wragg up and set fire to him" cabal and there junior section "McCabe out of my club" casuals.
Then there are those who like to slowly drive past car crashes who listen very carefully so they can misrepresent what's been said on here - Hello Len !
After that are the mouthy drunks with their anthem "Weers munneh gone" and the odd muttered "cunt" comment.
Somewhere in the audience is one bloke wanting to complain about the quality of the milk sachets in John Street, who keeps interrupting.
It's a rite of passage.
Prediction..
When Wilder resigns in May I confidently look forward to the fans forum where McCabe damms him with faint praise for having “taken the team as far he can” and hints at exciting new names in the frame as manager.. receives a standing ovation from those present and is lauded on here for keeping the club he loves afloat....
....Three weeks later he then appoints Mark Robins with Chris Morgan as his assistant.
Prediction ,or wish list ?Prediction..

Prince wants to buy but wants it for nowt (£1). McCabe been trying to sell for at least 8 years, wants £30m, which is probably his money back + £1m
If Wilder left I have a feeling Brian Deane will be in the frame for the job.
Sounds like a zoo of sorts. I'm intrigued.
How much is a share in SUFC? I get paid on Thursday so it can be my little payday treat...
To be fair Prince Abdullah is quit busy at the moment discussing the rather odd use of the foreign versions of forenames i.e. Mohamed and Ahmed rather than the Arabic Mohammad and Ahmad. It's created quite a lively debate.Since this new boardroom struggle raised its ugly head, the biggest concern for me has to be the future of Chris Wilder who i think at the moment is the clubs biggest asset.
At the minute was is happening seems to be to be as clear as mud, with the matched investment it seems like one party isn't willing to match the others investment, meaning that the funding of the first team is suffering, and it is not a situation that can go indefinitely as i can see the moment coming where Wilder walks and we are left with another poor managerial choice and enter a new spell in the wilderness.
I think the shareholders meeting on saturday will be of critical importance, as i think that McCabe will put his cards on the table and put his point across, the silence coming from the Saudi at the minute is deafening.
The way i see it is that McCabe has grown tired of the lack of interest coming from the Saudi, and is calling him out and i'd be surprised if he doesn't have other investors primed and ready to come in to the replace Abdullah.
Sold. Heck, might even buy two.

Sounds to me like Wilder has had enough and is on is way out - Taken the club as far as I can ... what's happening? ... money for players? As mush as I dislike Wilder on a personal level, a gobby so and so, he's a damn good manager and will be a big loss![]()

Good to see you’re being as positive as you usually are.![]()
“receives a standing ovation from those present and is lauded on here for keeping the club he loves afloat....”
Puts me in mind of someone... can’t think who....
Of course he does. Any employee would. I'm sure the guys in the ticket office and commercial department do too!
Question is what can they all do? Get on with the day job you're paid to do or find another role...
After thinking about his outburst on Friday, I think Wilder is playing a high stakes game. Realistically where could he go? As Chris Coleman is finding out, pick the wrong club and a blossoming career can end in 3 months... Most Championship clubs either have uncertain ownership or some crazy foreign consortium!
We're as luck to have him, as he's lucky to have us!!
Friday has hurt him a heck of a lot. But Friday’s performance hadn’t ‘been coming’ like some off days usually are. We’ve just won 2 on the spin and played some good stuff and deserved the wins. Then all of a sudden we can’t string 2 passes together??? Why? What’s happened since last Saturday to make that performance so bad??
He wants to know what direction we’re going in - we all do. But if it’s him asking the question, my spider sense tells me that’s not positive.
Just in the car now and we can’t help thinking that the board wants promotion on peanuts and this can’t be achieved. This manager is the best thing to happen to this club. The board have to stop thinking his loyalty will keep him here. He’s ambitious. He’s driven. He wants to win things. Stop taking him for granted and saying “here’s some cash, spend it wisely”. Start saying “here’s some cash, do the business”.
If there’s a bit of a power struggle at the top, the politics needs to be kept private and away from football matters as well as it can.

Remember HRH has a DOF sat on the board....
Nah, not buying it. If one of those clubs drops out of the PL he's in with a shot, but no PL is taking a gamble.
However, as I've said elsewhere, Wilder needs to look at the plight of Chris Coleman before thinking the grass is greener!!
