Nah, not buying it. If one of those clubs drops out of the PL he's in with a shot, but no PL is taking a gamble.

I said a while back the boardroom changes coincided with our drop in form on the pitch one or two met that comment with derision. Seems like it is having an effect on Wilder if he don't know the direction the club is heading this will filter down to the players too. It will be just our luck that the Prince is a Rupee millionaire without two pound coins to scratch his arse with, maybe the reason he has bought a wank Belgian club to play with. Will McCabe have to pay him off for a lot more than the £1 he came with ? Will we need to sell Brooks in the summer to pay him off ? Will Wilder walk if we sell Brooks but have no money to push on in the summer ? How will we attract good players if any bright young talent is sold after a handful of 1st team games ?
This ownership issue needs sorting out fast or I can see next season starting without Brooks and Wilder. Typical United just when we start coming good something always comes along to fuck it all up.

If you listen to his interview after the game it's all bourne out of frustration, and needing to bring in quality, if we don't invest and manage to keep Wilder then we will have blown our best opportunity to really do something special. If the boardroom wrangling isn't sorted and he walks, then expect a swift return to league 1,

It's very clear that Mcabe cannot continue to own a club of our size on his own, it's time for hi, to sell up to someone who can, I'm sick to death of being the also rans, the big club with potential that promises but never delivers, it's been far too long since we won or did anything, it feels all very much on a knife edge at the minute, it'll go either one way or another.

If either West Brom or Stoke get relegated and don't change manager before the season's end, then I would expect CW would be in the list of managers to speak to in the summer. The same goes for Villa and Boro, if they don't go up. I'm not suggesting that he'd be a shoe-in for any of the jobs, but I would suspect that they would all like to talk with him. Obviously, that's if we don't go up ourselves.

And with bigger backing I'm sure he could build/rebuild a squad for someone that could storm the championship.

I agree with you. Commence sense suggests he deserves a chance and I’d be pleased for him if he leaves us for a better position.
But the recent trend shows that Wilder doesn’t fit the profile of what foreign PL chairman and even PL fans want.
