After four glorious years agent Wilder has gone rogue and done a number on his boyhood club

I don’t get it ? Why give up a job at your boyhood club to join West Brom

Because the players were letting him down week in week out? Because he had some major issues with how the club was run and with the owners? Because fans were turning on him? Because his reputation was getting damaged? Because we were setting records for being so wank? Because he was flirting with some sort of mental breakdown?

Because, with the odd exception, he wasted a significant budget on players that aren’t good enough? Because he turned us into one of the worst and most boring teams in PL history? Because he blamed everyone but himself?

Interesting seeing a lot of their fans saying they don't want wilder as he is miserable, plays negative defensive football and is shocking with money.

Think his reputation is quite tarnished from this season and it would have actually served Wilder better to stick with us and get us back up

the players he signed, the players he coached and managed? As for how the club was run, none of us know 100% whats going on behind closed doors re how the club is run, although its a pretty safe bet to say, its probably (this season included) the best its been run in the last 40 years, there is a structure in place, and a plan in place, money provided and spent, the most in our history.
Forever grateful for everything Wilder achieved, but this season, the man management, tactics and everything about the feam, fell apart,, tgere was never any hint or sign that by carrying in the same way would spark a turnaround 'WE' never ever looked like being up for the fight.
So while I agree Wilder achieved great things, and was rewarded with an incredible amount of patience and good will, that no previous manager has ever enjoyed, the facts are plain to see, JOC was never replaced, Lundstroms contract situation has been allowed to dominate, he shoukd have been moved on and or the contract offer removed, Brewster might come good, but not what we needed at the time, we couldn't afford to buy someone for the future and ignore JOC/Lundstrom shaped gaping holes.
