FFS. Is this a wind up? The club is in a very difficult position. Tell youi what? Why not make the same calamitous mistake as last season?Wilder is yesterday's man please go before the legacy is tainted any further. No attempt to win that match today and even less last week at home which is reprehensible.
Absolute mental decisionWhoever decided to give Tyrese Campbell a three year contract must be on crack![]()
I thought the same regarding Andrews mate, but let's faced it if he had stopped here, he would have been crucified by the fans on the results, and then his Brentford career would have never happened, he couldn't have made a better decision, good luck to him top blokeI agree with paragraph 1,2and 4 of your statement wholeheartedly. Don’t disagree with the others. I’ll give him a dozen matches to try and rekindle something, I’m certainly not a fan of mark 2 and definitely 3 but he’s got a free pass at present. My gripe, and we discussed it at the time is that the club let Keith Andrew’s walk through the door,he was touted well before he left by players at the club.
Bit like blaming Don Givens whereas John Matthews gets a free pass even though he should have taken the penaltyMe too and it really annoys me when 95% of our fanbase blame simonsen for the defeat just because he wasn't as popular as some of the players who were actually at fault
Yes,I wish him well, people connected with the club at that time liked him but he could only go so far within his boundaries.I thought the same regarding Andrews mate, but let's faced it if he had stopped here, he would have been crucified by the fans on the results, and then his Brentford career would have never happened, he couldn't have made a better decision, good luck to him top bloke![]()
Pretty much my thoughts exactly CrabbyI’ve been constant in my view that Wilder 1.0 was one of the best, if not the best, I’ve seen in my time. I’ve also been constant in my view that we shouldn’t have gone back to him.
I’ve lost trust in the board, in COH or whatever they call themselves this week. I’ve no love for the Prince either, I’m sure Mcabe is thinking what goes around comes around.
But two wrongs don’t make a right. It might be “the way things are done in the corporate world”. But in my world view of right and wrong, it’s a shithouse trick. What if I bought a burger and then only paid half?
Wilder is a mardy, truculent, chip on both shoulders sod as he has got older and I have no time for his entourage.
All of that being said, he’s the only man at the club that I trust, given the situation we are in
Anti Wilder posters are blinded by their own set agenda and can't even see it.
If Simonsen’s penalty was 6ft lower, it might have stayed in the stadium. Still wouldn’t have threatened the goal though…If Simonsen's penalty was 6 ft lower we could be an established powerhouse now ............
Berkshire, this is part of the problem, 2 extremes, its possible to be in favour of Wilder but also critical of some of his decisions but you then just get labelled as having an agenda.Anti Wilder posters are blinded by their own set agenda and can't even see it.
There are still people that believe Selles was the wrong guy that anyone other than Wilder must also be the wrong guy?FFS. Is this a wind up? The club is in a very difficult position. Tell youi what? Why not make the same calamitous mistake as last season?
Which is all fine.Berkshire, this is part of the problem, 2 extremes, its possible to be in favour of Wilder but also critical of some of his decisions but you then just get labelled as having an agenda.
For instance its clear from his comments that he thinks we need more experience. As a result hes brought in 3 very soon to be thirty plus year old central midfielders who all basically do the same stuff and only one of whom started yesterday. Given our lack of creativity is it unreasonable to point out that some of those wages could been more wisely spent?
We cant blame the board for us having brought all of Rothwell, Jairo and Phillips in (when we already had Peck and Blaster)but us not having a single left winger (which is one area we needed even before Gus left)

Yep I’ve come to the same conclusion as you I need to support him although I can’t see any successful future with him but that’s mainly down to our owners I’ll be glad when/if we reach 50 points I’m praying that the owners will have found some more money or will have ‘exited the club’I didn't want him back ....
However I think we need to keep him now and get behind him ..
Solid if unspectacular start to the season
Lose against Blackburn & another point on rd in Wales....

CONFIRMED Post in thread 'Slaviša Jokanović'
I don't care who we get so long as it's someone who knows how to get the ball in the box and give the strikers half a chance. The last 10 months under Wilder have been abysmal on that front.
This!2 weeks ago I would happily have seen wilder leave
However knowing the shit we’re in now, we need someone who can works the frees market and create a trench mentality
Pick the right general, for the right battle
