And that will work with players of Division 3 status. My concern is that when these players start getting the plaudits, and all the flattery from agents, they will start getting Premier League Syndrome and believe the hype. And in the PL the power sits with the players.

That's not to say that Wilder can not deal with them, but it will be a new arena for him. But he has all the potential to be the next Fergus if his upward trajectory continues.

Idle threats with the strength in depth we have. Other managers have learned that whilst critisising players in public goes down well with fans it' not a great strategy when you have to rely on the same players in the next match.

I don’t see an idle threat. I think you might find that Carruthers will be the example. Slater will get his slot and come January Carruthers will be at charlton

don't agree with what CW said about Preston's goal (and winner) had nothing to do with Coutts being missing.

We had enough possession in the first half that a team with Coutt's in, would have played more up the field and could actually have created more meaningful chances and possibly scored. Under that scenario, Prestons' goal may not have been the winner and we wouldn't have lost.

We miss Coutts's style of play and as of yet, haven't found a way round it.

When you lose 4 out of 5 and have been absolutely bloody awful in two of them, it doesn't have the same effect. I'm not slating Wilder, I think the injuries have truly compounded us. Duffy been caught in Le Chambre with Martin Green and Wilder has told McCabe. Me and our Scott have been brought back even though we have no interest. Along with Lafferty, who l revealed only last week drank real ale, five players are now refusing to drink Peroni and have sided with Jake Wright who has them defiantly drinking canned IPA. Which is why he's not first choice.
