I think football teams are like any other workplace , some will be on board some not ,I think we've a decent bunch and there will be a few on the outside . I've heard talks and comments from people who were in the most successful sporting teams at the highest level and in general there as few groups in a team and certainly not all get on and there's a few dissenting voices , it's just the dynamic of a group . Of course lose a few games and suddenly this becomes a split , the same split probably existed last season and probably exists at citeh .

Ron Atkinson once said the art of managing a team is keeping the ones who don't like you away from the ones who haven't made thier mind up ... probBly some truth in that..

I think it was good mind games from Wilder towards the players who started yesterday. It sounded like a few of the squad players have only a couple of games left to try and save their careers here or they are gone in January. Maybe that will motivate them against Villa.

Wilder's psychology and media savvy is underrated. He knows the team he had out yesterday was hobbled, but he cannot give excuses. So it's a balance of not slating players who tried (they really did try), and making clear we have to do better.
