Nice one . I’m sure we both want the same things ie a successful United. I’m probably going on a bit too much but after 50 + years of watching the club I’ve seen all the ups & downs and in my opinion it’s best to stick with the manager we have rather than not

What WE are saying is we've seen what knee jerk reaction changing of managers does- it gets you in a spiral downwards trend.

Chris & Al are gems, they have proven it- have faith have a bit of loyalty- these guys are good- its tough now but they'll come good again.

And straight answer to you- with this team NO manager could have done better, and the sort of management team they'll come up with to replace him will be total dogshit.

So grow up- realise how good something you hold really is- because WE are telling you now to throw this pair under a bus is a huge error of management.

Football is about ups and downs. Its astonishing that sacking a manager after a poor run of games, for which there are alwasy various factors at play, is so prevalent in the business of football. It is such short termism.

Sometimes, of course it is warrented. But a new manager will always have to shape a squad into their own, which takes time and money. You might get a kick up the arse from a new manager for a few games, but its not the long term solution when you know you aleady have an excellent manager, and i am yet to see credible suggestion as an alternative.

And Wilder has proven he is an excellent manager. He is not without his flaws, but if he was he wouldnt be managing us. He deserves the chance to sort it out. He has not yet used up that chance yet, far from it. He deserves the full season for me. And if it looks like we are certainly going down in, say, February, he still deserves to stay. Because he is an excellent manager. That doesnt change in the space of a few months. He’ll in fact be an all the better manager for it. And no one would be better placed to attempt take us back.

He has spent money, but in this leage its nothing. That budget, one of the lowest in the league, had to be stretched, to provide back up and competition for places. its not as simple as blowing the budget on proven quality PL striker as some suggest, would they come? What about the wages and wage structure?

I thought the 3-4-3 switch yesterday completely re invigorated us. I hope that we will stick with that approach now. Keeping things tight as a strategy isn't an option without JOC and Henderson, may as well go out all guns blazing.

We’ve had a bad start no one can get away from that but we’ve been decimated by injuries and having no fans has made that much worse yes all teams have empty grounds but that clearly effects us more than most

I don’t think any of those 3 are credible options. That’s the point, there aren’t any.

We don’t pay anywhere near the money that Ranieri and Poch would want, we are bottom of the league so both will end up with a PL relegation on the CV and they’re foreign so won’t really like our squad.

Howe tried it ‘up North’ with Burnley and was poor.

Stick with Wilder I say.
