What exactly are you expecting from a squad that’s been ruined before a ball was kicked this season? The piss poor summer recruitment has nothing to do with Wilder. This is all on the owners heads but yeah, let’s use it beat Wilder with.

Everyone keeps saying this "piss poor summer recruitment". People all over social media and this forum were saying "they've found Wilder's shortlist under sofa" when we announced the likes of Ogbene, McGuinness, Chong, Mee etc.

Wilder has also singled out a few players for being "good signings" a few times in press conferences since coming back.

Like I've said before, the January window is just as much to blame as the summer. Kicking can down the road and temporarily filling squad with loans and spending big money on the ineffective Cannon, we got exactly what we deserved by not being progressive thinking in JTW. I think it's no coincidence that our xG performance has been terrible since January compared to Aug24-Dec24.

I don’t buy that free pass nonsense. He accepted the job knowing the players he had at his disposal, and it’s his job to get a tune out of them. If he can’t or won’t, he should find another employer who is happy to let him blame everyone else.

xG is not a load of bollocks. If it was then why do football clubs use these types of metrics to assess individual/team performance? And I said since January, not for about 6 games. And also you're talking about expected goals... I'm talking about xG - xGA, the xG difference is terrible in comparison to Aug24-Dec24.
