I didn't want him back when Hecky was let go. Did nothing to evidence he should have been back at any point last season. All he's done this year is pretend he has a squad that would struggle in L2.

Way I see it, it's either get a temp manager in and hope for a new manager boost. Nothing to lose, gives us the opportunity to get a capable manager for next season.

Or leave it with Wilder. Best case scenario is he somehow rallies them to a playoff win...but then we're stuck with a Wilder transfer window / playing style / probably Jack Robinson up against Salah for the first 10+ games
