Because he was sacked maybe he can tell all on this shower of shit that’s in charge of our club

Wilder probably signed a confidentiality clause so was gagged but Slav being sacked Probably hasn’t hopefully sooner rather than later he spills the beans on this lot

It definitely looks like there were tensions behind the scenes. It would be really interesting to get the full story. But I suspect that as part of Slav's payoff he will be bound by confidentiality too. I think the Prince can't handle any criticism.

The party line on here is that wilder left by the back door and slagged the board off. Neither of which have been substantiated.

The common theme for both is that they bumped up against the Prince and his preposterous band of suits.

It would be very interesting if it transpires that he faced the same problems as Slav.

Why is there this conspiracy theory about the board and broken promises etc etc?
Since Jokanovic came in we have been, with the exception of one game, playing a slow. predictable and uninspiring style of football. I’m sick of hearing about his CV and his promotions with Fulham and Watford, judging him purely on his motivational skills and tactical nous over the last nineteen games anyone would must surely concede, he’s got exactly what he deserved?

When you’re the coach of an under performing team, the only excuse you’ve got, other than admit your own failings, is that the players aren’t good enough. But the thing is we all know they’re much better than 16th in the Championship after 19 games! 🤔

4 million.

Aren’t NDA’s normally part of the settlement when managers leave even when sacked.

Hasn't Wilder come out and said he decided to leave a few times since he got the Boro job?

Given Slav's very vocal complaints about the last transfer window and he was recently making comments about wanting to strengthen key positions in January after recent matches, I fully expect his departure was 100% over January and not recent results or performances.

He reinstated Basham and we've looked better at the back. We've also drawn one and won one keeping back to back clean sheets, something we've not done all season. He also stopped putting square pegs in round holes and finally picked a formation for who he's got, rather than a formation for who he hasn't got. Coincidentally this resulted in a win and a draw and said clean sheets.

If he was to be sacked over results, why after those results? If the board were going to back a new manager in January then they'd have looked for someone else prior to sacking him and allowed applicants. Sacking him and replacing him with Hecky only tells us that this was entirely to do with lack of funds in January. We'll sign no one. That's nailed on, and obedient lapdog Hecky will tell us that it's all okay.

I don't begrudge Slav. He shouldn't have picked a formation for players he didn't have, but he tried our old formation at the start of the season and it didn't work then, so he tried to change things. Our squad is devoid of hunger, confidence and sadly ability. He inherited a turgid turd of a squad, the board didn't back him in the transfer window and I fail to see how Hecky will change things too.

People bring up Hecky winning three matches last season. Yes he did. After relegation was confirmed and the players were no longer under pressure with nothing to play for. Prior to that we lost all four games including a 5-0 hammering, our biggest loss of the season.
