Wilder can't even deliver basic football. Get the fucker out.

He's dragging us down to worse than dog shit level.
Hey owners. Yes you yanks. Are you watching this? It's your god damned dollars being flushed away.
Do what needs doing you spineless bastards.
Then maybe rehire him again? 🤷
Totally agree. We look like a lower league one side. The 2nd and 3rd goals were scored by unmarked opposing players in the box for the umpteenth time this season. What do or don't they do in training with this muppet in charge?.

Might be in the minority here but first half Portsmouth caused a few problems first 5 mins.
We then seemed to pretty much control the game for the next 30. Not out and out control but Portsmouth offered little and the crowd went quiet. Should score really.

They then came to life a bit. Scored an absolute worldie. Then the red came and the game completely changes.

2nd half the changes initially left us wide open too much. Looked like free hit after hit. They get the 2nd. We start a bit of a fight back and pull one back. This seems to ruffle them a bit and game becomes less one way. We get the equaliser. And then next few mins Portsmouth seemed shaken.
They then start to push forward, and our forays forward becomes much less common as we enter the latter stages.

Annoying to lose to a goal from an unmarked player but think in fairness our players had grown tired.

Lots of battle, unfortunate to not be rewarded with something. Game turned on the sending off for me. And if course ref missed the straight red on Bamford.

Game improved with Phillips coming on ,Blaster not ready for the Champ more a boy against men at the moment.Donovan keeps the opposition nervous get him on early. There must be something that can be done about Langford we are beaten as soon as he is given our Incompetent game or just wants to see us lose through his decisions we know we are playing the opposition and the ref will help them to the points.

He’s a spent force.

Lots of managers have a shelf life, they get some decent jobs and then over time you see them managing further and further down the football league ladder, Ian Holloway springs to mind.

Wilder left us and did rubbish at both Boro and Watford so naturally we bring him back because ā€œhe’s a bladeā€, we sack him again and then bring him back again.

The club needs a clean break from him now, he isn’t going to turn this around and if we hang into him we are in for a very long and very boring season.

He actually did pretty decent at first at Boro and had a nice cup run. Just missed out on playoffs. Following season however started poorly and was then sacked.

Watford is a basket case. Not sure 10 games there proves anything.

God, I'm so relieved I don't have to know people like you in real life šŸ˜…
Same. Because I care about my club and don't accept obvious shit decisions week in year out.
You keep on clapping and watch the pigs overtake us, whilst you bury your head and ram your fingers in your ears.
You bloody pudding. šŸ˜

I'm convinced the players have zonal positioning drilled in to them - they all stand where they are told to, no marking is allowed, they must be stood in their spot and then react slowly to the player stood in yards of space.

I'd love to know how many goals we've conceded from unmarked and unchallenged players, especially around the edge of the box. Yes the first was a worldie but at the same time if you give a professional footballer that much time and space then they should be able to drop it in the far corner. We do it time and time again.

I’m just sick and tired of being ridiculed for the way we play. I could understand it if we’re sneaking wins, but it’s real mixed bag. There seems to be a universal acceptance that we are a shit team and an easy 3 points. This is an alien concept to all Blades, whatever the result we always give teams a game…That’s not the real SUFC out there and it fucking hurts.

I’m convinced nothing is drilled into them at training. Just running and kicking the ball up to the wings.

Great summary, proud of how they fought tonight and should have won if the referee had done his job properly.

Our squad stinks, it is painfully slow, aging and lacking creativity. I'm more convinced now that Wilder is our best bet while the ownership mess is sorted.

Kinda agree on this take.

We looked the better side (pre red card) and seemed to settled into the game nicely with more confidence than previously, we seemd to have gained some from the win on saturday (probably lost it again now). We just couldnt get the final ball right and final 3rd we was a bit toothless. I'm sure we would have grown into it mkre and ended up winning.

Then out of nowhere a poor clearance and spozzy goal and red card all in couple minutes.

We then decided to go for it a bit and was left open. Bit all over place for 10 mins until we settled back down into it... to then be undone by pathetic lazy defending.

Whilst I agree that CW is a spent force, no one comes up with who we should appoint if we sack him?
I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve seen someone write this.

There’s a whole thread about it ā€˜if not wilder, who…’

How depressingly short sighted is it to think that there’s no possible other person who could be doing better than the garbage were being served up at the moment.

Think you were on another channel
First 15 minutes both sides looked non league
They then pinned us back we then had a good 10/15 minutes spell and last quarter looked fragile and they camped in our half pre red card and beyond

Much as I think more & more that Wilder is a ā€˜spent force’….. we are all dreaming if we think we are going to get a Dyche, Cooper to replace him. No chance - that opportunity was wasted at the start of last season. We have no money - Bettis has said it’s still frees & loans in January - so any new Manager will have to accept that he’s got to work with what he’s got plus our youngsters this season…. Hence why I’d say if Wilder goes they’ll bring back Paul Heckingbottom! Why…. He’s cheap(ie available), he’s an easy appointment for the board / Bettis & he’s good at integrating the young players into the squad/team.

So whilst I’d not agree - I’m guessing that Wilder will be gone ones way or another by Xmas and Hecky will be in place to replace him (whether we like it or not he’s one of the few managers out there who have worked with this type of ownership shitshow before & may be happy to do so again)

Bang on time for a change clean sweep

The ref with his ridiculous red card has handed Wilder a get out of jail card.
I think the ref not caving into Pompey pressure and sending Hamza off but instead giving the red card against Bamford and giving us a penalty would have been a more successful get out of jail card for Chris as I think we would have won last night
Whatever people think about Chris that ref is an absolute disgrace……
Btw I think Chris is doing the best he can under shit circumstances…..
The only thing I would say, and we saw that with Neil in my opinion, is that I wonder whether refs are broadly putting on glasses every game that look for reasons to punish us due to Chris’s comments in interviews….
