He wasCompletely understand where you are coming from, but I'd give him another chance. Even Selles wasn't written off after one game.
Ok, if you think soHe was
Is it nailed on that he is coming backSheffield derby wins and staying up is two positives having Wilder back
Ogbene a better fit than brooks or Godfrey on the right
If he does return, who will he pick for the Charlton Game:-
4-2-3-1
Cooper
Seriki Tanganga Mee Burrows
Matos Peck
Ogbene O Hare Hamer
Campbell
Doesn't matter how many strikers we have our wide players can't or won't cross. Our build up play has been so slow opponents can drop deeper, cover any space denying space for strikers to run into or receive passes. We are still woefully short of goals, it is catastrophic that we signed no strikers
Four four two is only really effective playing over a high press and needs a target man to hold the ball upI could see him doing something weird, like bringing back the 4-4-2 he got attached to at the end of the season.

He'll miss JeffScenes when Ukaki, Polendakov and Zatterstrom all start
Imho we'll miss a big CFIf he does return, who will he pick for the Charlton Game:-
4-2-3-1
Cooper
Seriki Tanganga Mee Burrows
Matos Peck
Ogbene O Hare Hamer
Campbell
Essentially the system and players who got 92 points last season but with 4 replacements.
Tanganga, Ogbene and Mee are arguably upgrades on Anel, Robinson and Rak-Sakyi
Souza the biggest loss but he was missing for large parts of last season anyway.
Matos probably the best option in that position or possibly Soumare / Davies.
He should be able to get us up and running again even if it’s not thrilling to watch.
I for one, will happily take that at the moment.
Hamer is literally perfect for the Duffy role, then Campbell for Mcgoldrick and Ings for Sharp, but I really don't want to see 352 to come back though as it didn't work properly after JOC was injured. We'd need to combine 4231 with that system to make it work.Seriki or Ogbene for Godfrey, may as well have fast legs as RWB if we have 3 CBs. Think playing with two up front or two 10s is the next think if we have wingbacks.
Either O'Hare and Hamer as 10s with Campbell as the striker.
Or go back to the old Duffy, mcgoldrick, sharp days so need Hamer as the Duffy, O'Hare or Campbell as the link between striker and the 10 and Ings as the poacher.
Oh I hated the 4-4-2, I just wouldn't be surprised if he did it again.Four four two is only really effective playing over a high press and needs a target man to hold the ball up
I think he will go as close to his 4-2-3-1 team of last season as he can with the personel available and given that Charlton will play a low block and will press us all over the pitch
With
Cooper
Seriki mee tanganga burrows
Matos peck
Ogbene O'Hare hamer
Campell
I think he went down that road when teams started pressing us high up the pitch and it worked when Kieffer was fit but unless maybe Ings plays I can just see it coughing up possession constantlyOh I hated the 4-4-2, I just wouldn't be surprised if he did it again.
Who's going to carry his culture do you reckon?
Mee will become club captain I imagine
Not yet but his initiation is down 15 peronis in banner cross then climb on a table and sing about Wednesday being bunch of twats. Once that’s done he’s captain.Does he get the club though?
Give One a try. He is big and does know where the net is!Imho we'll miss a big CF
Oh, we sold one on the cheap.
Why - with no replacement until January - assuming we can actually afford one
Neither of Godfrey after last week for that matter.Burrows isn’t good enough to play in back 4
I'd be surprised if he deviated too far from this, essentially like for like with Ogbene, Matos and the new CBs replacing Anel, JLT, JRS/BBD and SouzaIf he does return, who will he pick for the Charlton Game:-
4-2-3-1
Cooper
Seriki Tanganga Mee Burrows
Matos Peck
Ogbene O Hare Hamer
