Yeah we seem very easy to walk through their defence at times and they look petrified in possession around their box. I'll defend Sharp to the ends of the Earth but we need to bring on McB, Ndiaye, Berge, Anel and Mcatee should be laughing their way through their defence. Anel and Mcatee not so much so but they're more than capable.

Sander started strongly but has faded. McB would also be useful defensively when they are pumping corners into the box.

Weird game, we've had amazing chances but still seems a little lethargic to me. Should be a total spanking.
Goals in the game so I'd bring on McB for Billy, I'd rather he scored and kept his form up.

but that 2 yellows rule is always annoying because if 16 wasnt booked he wouldve been for that challenge. but always feels if your on a booking you need to exceed a yellow. to get a 2nd yellow

Wigan being quite positive pushing forward but they lack quality and belief, also their defence looks quite poor.

Now does Hecky do a Southgate and play a solid 2nd half keeping it tight inviting Wigan on to us?
or does he realise the Wigan are low on confidence and dodgy in defence, so we take the game to them and try to win 3-0?

My concern is the match will go how it did against Huddersfield and whilst we are 1-0 up we try to manage the game out for a professional 1-0 win.
To be honest Wigan look poor, if we show ambition in the 2nd half there's plenty of goals for us.

We have to go for it. Get them on the back foot from the off or we risk a scuzzy equaliser

I'm still baffled how the ref never gave the pen. One of our players can't remember which now literally had his shirt pulled off and nothing. Did the ref imagine he just took it off in the box? He couldn't even get it off the Wigan player when it was bloody off

What is it with our ability to drag ourselves down to the poor standard of the opposition? We should be 3 up here but we look off it when we're usually bang on it. We can dominate possession and play as much as we like but unless we finish a team off there's always that chance of them sneaking one
