Just telling it like it is, I thought that's what we all loved?Wilder biggin up Leeds was cringeworthy and now he’s at it again with Boro.

Spot on mateHe lost the game in his head before a ball was kicked at Leeds, he praised them so much, tormented his own mind to stop doing what was working for us, 7 games without conceding, only unbeaten team, etc etc, to sit in defence and ultimately concede two goals.
That is not how it is. Before Leeds we were unbeaten but he drilled a message and set up like we couldn’t beat them. so, he played to contain and defend and hoped for a point. Instead of taking the game to themJust telling it like it is, I thought that's what we all loved?
The issue isn't in acknowledging that Leeds and Boro are good sides at this level. The issue is the selection against Leeds which effectively waved the white flag before kick off and the fear that we'll do the same tonight.Leeds were the better team. He’s not wrong.
Boro are a good team. He’s not wrong.
Christ, any reason to cry on here, people will take it!
Leeds were the better team, Leeds shouldn't have been the better teamLeeds were the better team. He’s not wrong.

He constantly seems to have a chip on his shoulder about something, whether it’s how a game is perceived to have gone (often) or how he’s perceived as a manager (always).
Quite rightNot that I’m particularly bothered by that but there used to be a time where I’d look forward to what Wilder had to say on certain things. I’d reserve opinion on how a match went until I’d heard Wilder’s view on how it went. Those days feel a long time ago. He constantly seems to have a chip on his shoulder about something, whether it’s how a game is perceived to have gone (often) or how he’s perceived as a manager (always).
It wasn't natural for 9 successful games. Its hardly surprising when you have a fanbase waiting to stick the knife in. Look at it on here since we lost. Can't be a comfortable position to be in, can it.
It's natural when being attacked/ constantly under the threat of being attacked, to be defensive.
Any reason to cry? On here, you say? Do you have any other examples which may add weight to this accusation?Leeds were the better team. He’s not wrong.

Needs to stop calling us Punters first , ok i help pay Wilders wages , but i am not a f`kin kerb crawler.
Nothing to get upset about.

Then he suddenly
Changed the shape
Changed the personnel
It wasn't the loss to Leeds that's upset everyone
It's the manner of the defeat
Not sure your ‘moniker’ puts as much distance between yourself & that ‘allegation’ as you may wantNeeds to stop calling us Punters first , ok i help pay Wilders wages , but i am not a f`kin kerb crawler.
As Wilder has said , it's how we react to last Friday" which is important. For those 9 games, he was the manager. Put the team together. Put the tactics together (including a brand new system).
But because he didn't come out and publicly flog himself after checks notes ONE GAME (against the best team in the league IMO), fans can't seem to get over themselves.
The lead up was hardly ideal either, to put it mildly.
I don't like how we played against Leeds, and I don't think we should have changed the system, btw. I just think we should support the team until we have real reasons not to. After the first 10 games, they ALL deserve our support, considering where we were at one point this summer.
Being disappointed with a performance and thinking the manager got it wrong, are both viewpoints I understand. But then we get into the world of "red flags", "2021 Wilder", etc, etc, etc and you see how weak the support base is and so does explain the defensiveness.
Yeah, it used to work when Warnock did it, but like you say it just sounds a bit cringy when Wilder does it.Wilder biggin up Leeds was cringeworthy and now he’s at it again with Boro.
