because there are way to many negative people on here and worse still many who only post negative stuff as it gives them some sort of pleasure. There are to many glass half empty twats on here!

Why don't we just have one thread on this site called all thing SUFC are shit because. At least all the twats would be forever posting there, leaving the rest of the site for sensible discussions.

3 reasons I am optimistic;

1, Parachute payments
2, a VERY weak Championship with half a dozen, maybe more teams under transfer embargos
3, we have a good Championship squad, even with losing 3 or 4 players, 2 or 3 quality loans bought in will easily replace them

Each to their own, but I'd find it hard to go to matches if I didn't feel optimistic!

And no amount of people saying we'll get relegated, should take away anyone else's optimism.

Sometimes like under Adkins, I couldn't see any reason for hoping....now I think we're well placed to have high hopes!! ⚔

I've been a blade for 35 years. I go from season to season envisaging the latest disaster. Yet I do think we're a good managerial appointment and a few shrewd transfer dealings away from a strong promotion push. I also said that shortly before we appointed Bryan Robson and again before Danny Wilson. So anything is possible.

Yep, relatively speaking it's about as shit as it was between 2007 & 2011. Throw in change of managers, losing players, cutting costs, etc. We soared to some great heights then didn't we.

We have finished below half way once We have automatically been promoted twice and got into 4 play offs so that's a chance of going up in 6 of 12 seasons

The year we went down we were decimated with injuries used 41 players
and had 4 managers due to circumstances with Speed walking out on us
As wendies have just proven having a squad of managers is not ideal

In the other years we finished 7th 8th 9th
So weren't far off
It's reasonable to assume we will be nearer the top than the bottom
