Why all the concern?

It's still early days, and we have a manager who showed last year that he knows how to avoid relegation on the last day of the season.
A point at Pompey was enough to keep them in the division, and let's not forget that useless Wilder only got us a draw there as well last year.
Look, we're only bottom of the league on goal difference, and at least we kept a clean sheet for the first half today.

OK, so we didn't score. So what. How can you score when you don't have any shots on target? Durrr.
You do know Swansea only lost 1-0 last week so they're obviously a good side.
Just give it a few weeks, and we'll soon start turning defeats into draws.

I have to admit to being a bit of a quiz fan.
I love attempting those really challenging ones, you know, The1% club final question and that kind of stuff, so I quite appreciate the extra dimension that Selles has brought in.
So far I've seen over 270 minutes of this season and still can't work out what the fuck he's trying to achieve.
Are you really not concerned?

I keep thinking back to this. I remember especially how bad the 2 home performances were (apart from a brief spell in the Southend game when Coutts came on). At the Rochdale game the atmosphere was horrible and George Long got the worst abuse I have ever seen one of our players get from the Kop.

A few weeks later we were flying.

Whether history will repeat itself, time will tell.
What changed at that point? Players, system or did it just click?

A win does start to change things, just feels a bit of a long way off this evening

But obviously CW inherited a team which was atrocious from Nigel Adkins, not a team which just got to the playoff finals.
We need to knock this talk on the head. This squad is 11 players light from the one that finished last season.

After the loss at Millwall it was beer and a home truths session on the team coach.

We were still losing in the next match against Oxford until Wilson popped up the the winner.

Interestingly we didn't change to a back 3 until the next match when we were losing again at Gillingham. Ended up winning 3-1 I think and never looked back.

Selles proved he can keep a team in this division last season, and I think he has enough about him to do it again.

Only 10 days ago optimism was through the roof, as of today its run its course.
Its like Brewster every season I'd say he will come good now im thinking the same for Connot (not a typo) and also thinking the same for the team. Its the hope that kills you
