Anybody with half a brain wouldn't want the job. You'd have to be desperate, wouldn't you?

Even with our cut budget:
Yeah, no one would want the job.
but we should have the pick of the better lower league managers and those out of work for some time.
How far we've come eh? We could even be so audacious to go for A. Irvine !!!!
McClaren was interviewed on Sky at the weekend and didnt rule out returning to a non PL role said he quite liked the idea of building something. It would be a bit of a drop though, Champions League and Bundesliga to Football League division 3.
McCabe has dug his own hole...........................
he's either skint or thick..............or perhaps both, thats assuming he is a Blade.
You know what.....I never thought of Roy Keane until it was mentioned on here. He's not a bad shout actually. Could be a possible applicant as one would assume he is keen (excuse the pun) to get back into management. Not sure if he's a good choice but unless he's actually in the running it's probably not worth pondering.
Are we talking about the Roy Keane who spent a fortune at Sunderland and got them promoted before falling out with the majority of his players, who then went to Ipswich and spent another fortune turning them into a mid-table Championship side?

yup thats the fella, but its a big name.
Sounds like the very fella. I'm not debating whether he's a good choice or not. All I'm saying is he could be a realistic candidate. I dont see a better suitor out there for him at the moment.

He isn't a better choice than the three I listed previously.
