It'd be interesting to know which player has scored the most goals at Bramall Lane having never played for Sheffield United.
The fact Ronaldo is possibly one of the greatest players ever to play the game puts him as a contender
Though it could be argued back in the day some of England's greats from 66?
In my lifetime Gazza...Thierry Henry...Viera...Giggs...Cantona...or my favourite all time player Bergkamp?
It's easy. Sir Garfield Sobers closely followed by Don Bradman.
Nick Montgomery?
Bruce Springsteen?
Bergkamp the best modern shout for me. Otherwise George Best by a mile.
Did Paul McGrath ever play against us at BL?

Well his consistency of finding the touchline with any pass over 20 yards icould have led to a great Scottish Rugby Union career.
He certainly did, in my first United game – 2-1 win over Villa in March 1991. Chris Wilder also started the game:

Best was before me really, though I was born early 70's I don't recall United before 84/5 ish.
Surely McGrath played against us for Villa?
Scored only once at the Lane in December 1964 although he did score a good goal in TC's testimonialBest was a truly great player but can't remember any great exploits at the Lane. Same goes for the maestro Charlton and firecracker Law. In truth we never really feared them under John Harris. I particularly remember a 2-1 at Christmas (Jones and Birchenall I think) which was pretty comfortable and George hardly got a kick.

Didn't it used to be Mark ward ?cant seem to go back too far, and this is just goals scored against us, not just at the lane. but of current active footballers its a tie between marlon harewood and someone who now plays for us, both with 7
Bruce Springsteen is quite popular apparently.Billy Graham probably has the most fans...
