Can we add Carlos to the list? Now taking Braga to the Europa League and comes with plenty of championship salt for our 3rd division neighbours

I wouldn't want Carlos but, begrudgingly, he was actually pretty decent in his first season at The Sty. Decent football and results.

That being said they were awful in the play off final although we can hardly take the high ground when discussing going into a play off final in top form and stinking the place out, Wolves anyone???

Need to get this appoint right.no doubt the new manager won,t be playing the same style Chris Wilder.
So the players have to play a new style.very difficult i would say.the new manager might want to get rid of players.who he thinks won,t be good enougth etc.as long as Lunstram and Norwood go first the will be ok by me.
to be honest i have no idea who i would like to be the new manager.Lampard not experience enough.Mourino can,t afford him i would think.whoever the new manager is.Berge,Egan,o,connell Ramsdale ought to be kept.in my opinion anyway.over to you Prince Abdulah.

How are you getting him a work permit?

Not my job to do that , I'm saying he's my preferred choice. I just feel jakanovic is totally out of his depth at prem level which has been proven and would just be a short term fix, if we could get blessin a work permit maybe with an appeal he would be the better option to build something for the long term. I don't know how all the permit thing works and I'm not going to pretend to.

SJ is my dream appointment!

I’be been at odds with my sons (and some on this board) regarding Wilder. I want to see SUFC try and do a Citeh, modernise itself for the new era of football. Cosmopolitan ownership and players, picking the right players not based on them being UK origin. Call it lazy, race based, lack of foreign player knowledge or whatever, Wilders open strategy to only have UK players IMO was a big part of his and the clubs failure to capitalise and cement ourselves in the PL.

I’m 69 and IMO three things I needed to happen in a short period if I am to get the opportunity in what’s left of my lifetime to see us move effectively into the “new era” of football were....
1. Change of ownership to someone who has sport not power as their priority.
2. Appointment of a cosmopolitan manager who is aggressive in attack and will use a pool of players regardless of their nationality.
3. Investment to fund 1/2 above. Yet to be seen but PA seems to have a good financial and aggressive / killer business acumen by destroying even humiliating McCabe when he attempted to dupe the Prince.

I might be lucky and have a decade left but with what’s happened in the past 3 years I still have enough ambishun to hope I will one day go to see us in a champions league game with my sons.
