It might just happen , and you missed it.

I didn't go to the Notts Forest Semi. "......OMG.....OMG....'

Do you dare not to go?

I've followed them all season at home in league, cups and play-offs to this point but come Saturday I'll be burying my head in a book or something equally as distracting and checking the score at the end. I can't take the nerves any more. Credit due to anyone else who can.

Now then, this is purely just my opinion, so, please i hope i don't offend anyone, but, if you're a Blade who follows the Blades regularly, then why wouldn't you go??
Yes, we may lose, and, obviously we may win also. I love Sheffield United as much as the next person, but, i have experienced situations(which i'm sure a lot of people have) in my life which make me appreciate that if we do fail in these big occasions then i feel i can get over the heartache and move on quickly in my continued support of The Blades.
I'm sure a lot of people feel this way too, which makes ME think whether i'm there or not the result isn't going to change. It's just I'd rather be there.

It's quite simple people... Life is far too short to not ensure you endure as much Blades related heartache as possible.

Never mind the what if we win/actually score.... What if it's your final opportunity to see the red and white wizards? you never know what's around the corner.

What if it's my last chance to spend a Saturday afternoon with my wife and kids?

Do I need to answer that? :D

In all seriousness... of course there are many things more important than football... So I don't critisise anyone not going for those reasons :)

But for those not going just because they'll be miserable if we lose, what *if* we win and it's only Wembley win in the next 70 years?

What about those on low wages who cannot afford to pay out extortionate prices?

In my experience of being on low wages i've still managed to make it to the showpiece events before.

A bit of scrimping and saving here and there works wonders.

My brother isn't going. He's been to all three previous final defeats and the recent cup semis (pigs, Newcastle, Arsenal) so I'm hoping it was all his fault and we'll win this one.

Tickets are still available in the cheapest category and to be fair, £34 is not extortionate for a big game. It costs that much every week at many Prem clubs.

I really can't afford to go. That said, despite it being superstitous hokem, i think I'd rather have the bitter sweet taste of sitting at home listening to the victory, if it means we get the promotion!

BB won't be there ........................well not physically

GOOD LUCK BLADES.

Decided after Stevenage in the league that i would not follow the play off, because after that game i just could not bear much.

So i watched both legs and it crushed me not having the monday and tuesday off work to get to the 2nd leg.

But some selfish friend of mine decided this weekend would be a good weekend to have his stag do, which i blindly agreed and paid to go to......

Hopefully that turns out to be incredibly unfortunate for me. but I will have Amsterdam rocking if the unimaginable happens!

I'm in the same state as your bro and wishing and hoping it has been all my fault.

I cant go and for once its not financial, had a long standing engagement that has to be upheld.

Ive managed to convince them to get the match on though. COYRAWW.

Im going. But in a way I wish I was nt.

I know in my head what will happen.
We will play well for first 15 min. Really batter them.
Then they ll break away and Rhodes will score!
That will be it then .
For all our huff and puff the result will be one nil town.
Cue long drearly trek back up M1 accomanied by jubilant mocking jestures from Terrier fans all the way.

Thats what my head tells me.

My heart however...................now thats a different story.
Always been ruled by my heart. Which is why Im a Blade. And Why I ll be there.

Trek back up the A1/M18 and avoid it all then......

Exactly the reasons I'm not going as well (apart from detesting rip off Wembley) I'm convinced if I dont go we have a chance.
