No. Not in their house. Plus that doesn’t need answering as it’s almost certain to be Tom Davies, I assume he’s in some sort of cool barnhouse conversion with exposed timber beams, run entirely off the fumes of recycled plastic.

In terms of footballing ability, just a quick poll and potentially a discussion to see who we think is likeliest to play at the highest level?

I’ve not included lads who are around or over their peak, or those indeed who just aren’t as good as the rest. Included all the academy lads who’ve featured this season in the league as I think that’s fair. After all we are judging potential.

I’m expecting a varied vote here, and for me I’m going to have to say Cooper.

Don’t know if many others will, but he’s still relatively young for a keeper. Good with his feet, great shot stopper, confident, good at collecting the ball, English. A crop of keepers right now are going past their best, the timing for him couldn’t be much better. Arblaster and Burrows honourable mentions.

If anything this just proves how exciting and promising this squad is. It’s worlds apart from even this time last year. Crazy.

I think a lot of our players could fit into a squad of mid table premiership team, I don’t personally see anyone higher than that though.

You could see- Anel, Cooper, Souza, JRS, Hamer, Souttar, Arblaster all being part of a Fulham/ Brighton/ Brentford/ Bournemouth squad. I’m not saying they’re good enough to play week in week out or even start but they would get in their squads.

I don’t see any of our players being Liverpool, City, Arsenal, Chelsea players in the future though.

That’s where I think you’re wrong on Cooper. He’s as good as Sanchez now.

Blaster for me, already got some prem experience and coped ok in a terrible team. But needs a full recovery from his injury obviously.

Main take away for me if how many good young talents we have at the moment even if you don’t include the loans.

Cooper on the pitch. I just think really good goalkeepers are harder to come by.

Tom Davies literally - agree with the original post that he’s most likely to have an older, unique property.

Cooper was a close call, because he's clearly amazing.

Souza and JRS both honourable mentions but eventually lose out to Arblaster for me because of one word...

Attitude

Cooper, need to keep him away from top clubs in January and next summer, hopefully if we get in premiership it'll help

Prior to this injury, it was unquestionably Blaster IMO. For such a young lad to come into this side and perform the way he has is remarkable. The mental side of his game is 1st class & the boy can’t half play… I desperately hope he comes back from his injury the same player.

That being said, because of the injury, I’m hanging my hat on Peck. Similar in terms of mentality but his work rate is the difference. Never say die, never surrender, get fucking stuck in. Love the kid & I can’t wait to see how he gets on at the next level, with or without us.

Souza for me think he'd slot into most premier league sides then cooper got everything and good with his feet

Great shot stopper and commands his area. The good with his feet stuff is up for discussion. He can play a nice ball into feet in midfield but some of his longer pings have been poor. The main thing is he seems able to keep it out of the net on a regular basis.

I want to say say JRS.
He's the right age, at the right club and has all the ability.
But, something tells me Arblaster is a bit special. Cooper or JRS are probably more likely to ever get a international call (full) but I think Oli might get the biggest move.

When you read down the list of players like that, it highlights we have a very formidable squad. Compare that to any other Championship team and we are incredibly lucky to have a manager capable of building this squad in such a short space of time. For a laugh, when you compare it to that lot on the dark side it’s quite hilarious really.

Mad that a 25yo is considered to have the highest ceiling.

Michael Cooper is very, very good. But he's not exactly a youngster and he plays in the most difficult position to break through to an elite level.

For keepers 25 is still on the younger side, especially for elite level. In his mid-late 20s Emi Martinez was on loan at clubs such as Getafe and Reading.
