Usually ready for selling at 5.30pm during the 1980s. I would buy one after getting the 47/48 bus after I have played football at Concord Park. Read it in the bus to Dronfield and then hand it over to my dad when I get home

Does anyone know how many copies of the Green Un were sold at its peak?

This article here says in 1950s it sold 240,000!

You used to be able to buy it at a newsagents called Radfords on Fleet Street on the Monday morning.
Both long gone.
