I just want to know how many people applauded what was I.M.O a decent performance against a good team.

And also to see how many people did different just to get a gauge of how fans are feeling at the moment.

If the answer is OTHER! Please state

Cheers

I applauded the team off the field as they had tried really hard to pull things round and were unfortunate to get the 'equaliser' chalked off for offside when on other days it may have been allowed to stand.
I disagree it was a decent performance, overall the defending was schoolboy, the midfield overun and Cardiff looked streets in front of the Blades going forward and just as inadequate at the back!
However I do not subscribe to the theory that we have turned the corner and believe the next five games will determine how our season develops.

I applauded the team off. It's interesting to watch how many of the players make an attempt to applaud the fans, rather than a few cursory claps as they walk off. How many of the players actually walk towards John Street and the Kop before they saunter off? Morgs usually does, and so does Small Quinn. Monty will, but some of the others can only summon up a few half-arsed claps and that's it, regardless of the result.

I often wonder why I stay and applaud players who are paid a lot more than me and are too up themselves to bother clapping back. It might be because we stay behind for a minute or two to allow the surge of people towards the exit to die down a bit if one of us is driving. I know if we are off for a few pints on London Road after then it doesn't matter if the players want to come and kiss my ass, unless they are carrying beer I ain't hanging about.

Did not attend, bus fare costs too much, but would have applauded if there. Got hooked back on the Blades with NW knowinng the team would fight to the end. That is something I appreciate and applaud, it does not make for a winning team but it is an ingedient.

I don't see a "Supping up in the pub instead listening to cries of Blackwell out from narrow minded 16 year olds" selection

I applauded the players for their effort but wouldn't class it as a good performance.

Other for me. I will never boo, there is no point. However i cant applaud when the performance has been substandard. Yes, ok, we showed spirit - but as ive said in other threads, that is the absolute minimum for me. We were second best against Cardiff. We played better football than usual, but we lack bite and penetration. I walked out thinking how miles away we are now to be a promotion side.

Time for new ideas, from a new boss, me finks.

You can't say that on here it's classed as being a heretic!!!
Don't worry get 2-3 players back and we'll win 25 matches on the trot and there will be no problems
However back on planet earth, we have major problems which require major surgery starting with the management team of Blackwell and Ellis - They have lost the plot and do not have a clue of how to get the team winning again
Blackwell is too arrogant and up his own arse to resign to he has to be sacked
The sooner ther better!

Are you a heretic? I must be too because i am a free thinker and don't agree with everthing that is happening.
Are you speaking to people in space? coz i'd love to talk to them too.
Can you please tell me what the plot is?

Morning Boo,
Thanks for taking time etc etc etc
I thought the plot was to get the Blades into the top 2 preferably, play offs minimum and subsequently get into the Premier League!
Perhaps thats not the idea I'm not sure anymore!
Perhaps it's to make the side a run of the mill CCC side that will pull in 25,000 every week to enable us to tick over and fill the side with has been, never will be's and loans to ensure we have 11 men on the field!

So does that meen you've also lost the plot and through frustration and trying to find it your looking for heads to roll?

If the plot is to get us in to the prem, then a run of 25 wins will possibly do it and your frustration will ease and you can then give Blackwell a hugg:D

I don't see why a game played about 20 days since has been brought up to gauge a reflection....

In my opinion with that game, I feel that had we not scored and nearly got an equaliser the team would have been resoundly booed off the pitch (not by myself I must add).

The last 7/8 minutes was good enthralling stuff.... it had the goal counter ticking in the game and we tried playing 'some' football every so often.
So this was a good example of being more 'pleased' (lets call it) when leaving.

just stood in complete silence.. i always applaud the players off (normally) so that is the silent equivalent of booing if that makes any sense

Same here, though I may have clapped one or two of the players who came up to the Kop.
