When Saturday Comes - State of the Blades

After having an article published in When Saturday Comes a couple of months back covering the Blades global spread, I was asked to contribute something on the state of things at the Lane for today's daily web article. So if you want a read, you can find it here

http://www.wsc.co.uk/content/view/6078/38/

I didn't choose the title, possibly a bit too negative for me, but the rest is my submission.

Read it this morning, good article.

I was wondering if it was from a poster on here :)

My subscriptions run out and I've forgotten to renew. :-(

I think it's possibly as positive as it could get without wandering into Duncy terretory Shreds.

I agree with the majority of that. I only differ with the rebuffing of Wales bit because neither have.

TB has only said that it's an unwelcome distraction.

GS has only said he's concentrating on this weekends game and is "Flattered" by the interest.

Since then, news on the grapevine is, The WFA has been granted permission to speak to GS from Monday. Something that is typical and very much the Blades way of doing things.

As much as Speed has not set the world on fire. I think another change of manager and the inherent disruption would be the death knell of our season.

Raul- No one could quite reach Dunc levels of optimism as much as we might aspire!
