When players cock the ear after scoring

He assisted (key role in the build up where he robbed the ball on the touchline but not the final pass) on one of the other goals today as well didnt he. He had a great game and it was ace to see. No need for criticism or to scapegoat. He can celebrate however he wants. Keep it up George.

In his post match interview Baldock said he had no idea what he was doing when celebrating, so I doubt that this was some kind of pre-meditated response, and more just soaking up the crowds reception.
MGW made the same gesture after his first goal. I don't think we should read too much into it, to be honest. They're just enjoying the moment.

Agree with all 3 points.

Re Baldock, I would suggest his temperament affects what he delivers on the pitch. Some find it endearing, Furious George etc, but for me he's a headless chicken too often.

Fabulous goal today and deserves all the plaudits for that moment, but otherwise average at best for the other 92 minutes
O shurrup

I'm in F on the South Stand and didn't take it as a dig to the fans

I think it might have also morphed into a positive celebration, as MGW also raised his hand, encouraging the fans to cheer more. Sort of a "Did you see that goal? Come on! I want everyone to cheer as loud as possible so I can hear the adulation."

I don't think it was intended towards the fans, but honestly I sit in G block and even the smallest errors has people whinging. I keep saying it, but some of our fans are the worst thing about supporting us.

Think the “ear cocking” related to his frustrations trying to get an appointment to deal with an ongoing issue with hardened earwax. I sure we all have a degree of sympathy as it’s no real help having a telephone Doctor’s appointment, particularly if you can’t hear half the conversation.

Pardon?

Yes, Billy’s.

Was the Sharp goal, the defender tried to shepherd it out, but Baldock had other ideas and flicked it down the line to MGW.
