Houso, if Murphy or McNulty have a bad game, how does that team score a goal?

It's time that other players start to chip in. Reed and Scoogs with late runs in to the box should be getting far more goals than they have been doing.

And setting up a team based on what ifs is no way to pick a starting 11 to my mind.

You are assuming that they will chip in? 1 goal between them in 20 odd games suggests none of them are going to turn into Michael Brown circa 2003. That's blind faith.

Fair enough, I suppose to continue with the same thing over and over again hoping something will change is a sign of madness. But, if they're not going to score goals in their careers, then they'll be consigned to League 1 football at best for life.

We can't go 2 up front yet as we don't have the players. So the best hope is that the midfielders start chipping in with goals.

I'd put Flynn on the right with Brayford, JCR on the left with Murphy up front. Baxter in behind him with Coutts and reed in centre mid.

Picked Flynn ahead of Jam because of how well he linked up with the Beard last season and because I think his stint at RB will help cover when the Beard bombs forward and Baxter ahead of Scougs because I think he is more likely to get us a goal but it was a 50/50 decision to be fair. Both players are quality to have on the bench and bring on when we need them tho!
