Clear assurances from our leaders at the club that they're in control, we're not the victims and will stop being bullied by Players, Agents, PL clubs, The PL, The FA, Transfer Windows, Referees.

I'm not happy either - of course not. But our problems will not be sorted in the short term.

The reprofiling seems to be going on forever. Until it's consigned to the past (bye bye Naysmith) I just don't see any manager doing much but struggle. The staff turnover has just been insane.

Our football is often dire to watch, but as long as we're in or just outside the top 6 the manager is safe. If he gets us into the playoffs I think it'll be a real achievement.

Moreover I'm not about to berate McCabe. If he wants to pull back his loans, then fair enough. Who the feck am I to demand he gives his cash away?

What I want to see is stability in order to allow us to build sensibly. At the moment we're just winging it and fire-fighting. Nothing more.

Blackie and McCabe out. I think we need a fresh start as a football club, not as a property business. Sell the other clubs (if we actually own them), sod all this investment in other clubs and business rubbish and be a football team again.

is fast (well slowly) catching up with Blackwell out. Looking at all of the other forums I think that the goodwill, faith and trust shown towards McCabe is now almost non-existant. If he really is trying to sell the club on then he needs to try harder because a league 1 club will be a lot less valuable than the one we have at the moment.

I can't see any change this season.

At the end of the season there may be a change of manager if McCabe thinks Blackie has got him enough cash back but if not the reprofiling without a fight will continue until supporter pressure [as in Robson] kicks in.
