I’ve sympathy with that argument, but the Prince cannot even fund midtable championship mediocrity. It’s a major loss making enterprise, and the odds are we‘ll be back there soon.

I want an owner who doesn’t sail us close to the wind when they cannot afford to underwrite it. An owner who doesn’t think not paying creditors is acceptable. An owner who cares how they leave club when they move on.

I doubt we would have gone into administration, likely scenario is that we would have sold quite a few players (in addition to Berge and Ndiaye) to balance the books.

They were our only significant saleable assets, and with us being so desperate we wouldn't have got anywhere near the amounts we did when we were in the PL imho. Not sure it would have balanced the books even if we did.

If we hadnt gone up we'd have sold Ndiaye and Berge and ended up with a points deduction for the delayed payments....oh wait a minute.

Joking aside, we'd have used the fees from Ndiaye and Berge and also sold Anel to clear he debts and wouldnt have signed the likes of Hamer. The trio sold would mean we wouldnt have gone bust.
