The only problem I see with the Ramones is it would cause uncontrolled dancing in the stands. Or should that be "bopping"
From the classics:
Beethoven - Symphony No. 9 - The Ode to Joy.
Ravel's orchestration of Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition - 1st movement.
Tchaikovsky - Symphony No. 4.
All stirring stuff.
Vivaldi's Four Seasons - [Julian] Winter, at full volume, would be inspirational.
That was 1996/97. There were two songs written by Max Patrick that were regularly played on the tannoy at the time. They were released as a 2-track CD entitled 'Blades Singalong' just before the Palace play-off final.Who remembers the song we released in the early 2000's?
"I don't like Mondays but I can't stand Wednesday"?
It was horrendous but amazing at the same time, my vote is for that as our walkout song
Anthrax and Public Enemy "Bring The Noise"
Slayer "Raining Blood"
Or just for the hell of it, this.
But I have always liked the idea of a rousing, stirring piece of classical music in the build up to kick off.
