What song would you play as teams come out?

mattbianco1 , the Strauss one just reminds me of Ric Flair off of WWF. Speaking of which, does anyone remember when we came out to Kurt Angle's theme music? That was shit and brilliant.

Anyway ladies and gentlemen, I suggest Clubbed to Death by Rob Dougan.

Nice atmospheric intro with a good, bassy crescendo...

I like the White Stripes as much as anyone and it's a great song, but every single team in Britain is singing "we're the [insert club colours] army" at the moment. We shouldn't be going anywhere near Seven Nation Army.

From the classics:

Beethoven - Symphony No. 9 - The Ode to Joy.

Ravel's orchestration of Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition - 1st movement.

Tchaikovsky - Symphony No. 4.

All stirring stuff.

Ahh, well in the realms of the classics:

Respighi - Pines of Rome - The Appian Way section at full pelt, rumbles the very soul

Vivaldi's Four Seasons - [Julian] Winter, at full volume, would be inspirational.

Please god no, We used to have this as hold music when I used to have to spend all day on the phone to Streamline, used to absolutely do my head in.

Who remembers the song we released in the early 2000's?
"I don't like Mondays but I can't stand Wednesday"?
It was horrendous but amazing at the same time, my vote is for that as our walkout song
That was 1996/97. There were two songs written by Max Patrick that were regularly played on the tannoy at the time. They were released as a 2-track CD entitled 'Blades Singalong' just before the Palace play-off final.

"Don't bang the drum" by The Waterboys:-

"Well here we are in a special place
what are you gonna do here?
Now we stand in a special place
what will you do here?
What show of soul are we gonna get from you?
It could be deliverance, or history
under these skies so blue
could be something true..."

96/97??wow!!
"We've got holdsworth at the back- Patterson breaking up attacks...."
Haha brilliant

Maybe a tad controversial here, but I've always been a fan of Van Der Graaf Generator and I reckon their 'A a Plague Of Lighthouse Keepers' might just do the trick...
