He has an obsession with Italian football specifically and European football generally. Loves to go around Europe watching the game. It might have been an interview about Italian football, but last time I spoke with him he was still a Blade (he does hate the PL with a passion).

I can't remember if this was used in the warm up music or if we actually came out to this.



What do people think to having an auction or a weekly draw ? The winner gets to chose the music and somewhere like Weston park get the proceeds.
 
The Star Wars music is gash, but I don't know what I'd replace it with. I know the one time I visited Sunderland away that music gave me goosebumps, but we can't nick someone else's, it should be unique. But I have always liked the idea of a rousing, stirring piece of classical music in the build up to kick off.
 
No film was more Sheffield than "The Full Monty" I am proud to say.

"You sexy thing" should be our anthem as the teams come out of the tunnel, followed by "Greasy Chip Butty" at the kick-off.

If you go back to when I was a lad then "Ilkley Moor Bar Tat" was the anthem, would be great to revive that.

Unfortunately whenever we've changed it in the past the experimental replacements of the Star Wars theme have been awful. This was most apparent when we used a modified version of WWE wrestler Kurt Angle's theme tune, which was so awful it lasted only a handful of matches.

What did we have before Star Wars - The Kids Are United? That was ok. But I like the idea of something similar to the Sunderland one - though obviously not a direct copy. It would be nice to have something unique.

Have to say I love hearing Prokofiev's 'Dance of the Knights' at the Stadium of Light. Heard it more than many due to my wife being a Makem, really makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck each time. Agree it can't be stolen though. There are others out there mind.
 
Well if we're not going to change the Star Wars theme we could at least 'upgrade' to the disco version in honour of N.I.G.E.L
