If/ when we go up should we try to purchase these 2?? If so how much
I'm going
Mcatee £20-25m
Doyle £15_20m
McCain oven or sweet potato?Wedges though ??
You can’t have both on loan only one premier rulesI think we are perfectly placed to get both on loan. But I'd don't see us signing either of them. I think City still see McAtee as one for the future and a season in the Prem increases Doyle's value in the shop window.
If I can just stick my nose in John, I'm a big fan of James, I've watched him from the 14's. He's coming on at the Blades, he needed to improve the physical side of his game. Pep actually wanted him in the first team squad this season, it was James who wanted to go out on loan. Final thing is no player who have gone out on loan during Peps management has returned to play first team football.City aren’t going to sell McAtee yet. Nor is he going to be in their squad next season.
Is he ready for a Prem loan? I’d suggest City will want him exposed to that level of football, but he’d only get game time at a bottom club, and even then he’ll need to force his way in over time. No guarantee that’ll happen.
As for Doyle, City might be willing to sell, although he might not want to go. But either way he needs to be at a Prem club next season, on loan at the very least.
If we go up I’d take either. McAtee would be more of a punt, but we would have to gamble on creative potential in order to avoid another horribly impotent season.

Ideally I'd be looking for a swap deal McB to Ethiad plus 30 million and get both Doyle and McAtee in.
He fell off his bike back in 1996 and he’s just, this week come out of the Coma. What’ve you been drinking?
Can't see LG 1 Wednesday signing Jude BellinghamTommy Doyle may become available if we sign Jude Bellingham.
Tommy is of an age and is good enough to play lower premium with experienced players around him.
He wants to play regular first team football...City will include a sell on and buy back clause.
Burnley are interested.
Pep wants James to come Back to the first team squad and train with De Bruyne etc.
Their are some fantastic prospects in City EDS who might be ready for a Championship loan
There is some absolute shite posted on here, in fact I'm going to stop reading it & watch the snookerDoyle is no more than a 5/8 m player macatee about the same
Just for the record ,what's their valuation as champ playersThere is some absolute shite posted on here, in fact I'm going to stop reading it & watch the snooker
If Russ is watching the snooker now I'll add my twopenneth (again).Just for the record ,what's their valuation as champ players
If we go up then it will only be about 10 weeks before we find out what Man City want to do.My take is yes two good young players ,maybe had a 15 good games for us between them ,yes they are in form now ,and I hope they fire us to promotion.but some of the wild valuations are straight off football manager
We will wait and see ,would like Doyle back permanently and macatee on loanIf we go up then it will only be about 10 weeks before we find out what Man City want to do.
Happy to be proved wrong and re-visit this thread at that time.
Man City sold Lavia for over £10M, he had never played a first team game at any level. So it is logical to think that they would want much more for Doyle.
We both 100% agree on that.We will wait and see ,would like Doyle back permanently and macatee on loan
Latvia was a brighter prospect than Doyle and went straight into premiership football and done well in a poor team.If we go up then it will only be about 10 weeks before we find out what Man City want to do.

You can't tellme Doyle is as good as Trevor Francis and he cost $1m...no living in 1985Are you living in 1996?
Likewe did with ndiaye ?…just enjoy them while they’re here. If they were our players, we’d have sold em both by now.
There's still a lot of lead and industrial fall out in the air in your terraced street !!Ideal scenario is Doyle on a permanent, Kyle on a free and McAtee on loan again![]()
