Danny Wilson, the one regular manager with a better win % than the "beloved"When Danny Wilson is the 2nd best manager we've had for 10+ years you know we've made some poor choices. He was a Welshman's cock away from a very good season though.
The tough fucked offWilder tried to jump ship at least twice, just get over him.
When the going gets tough.......![]()
I always thought Lingard story was a punt pipedream. Surely he was always going to pkay for a team that might buy him and stay in PL. when Moyes came in I think we were never destined to get himWhat version of events do you think we've been getting from the press in the last few months, because it hasn't been the Princes?
Also not signing Lingaard or Watkins wouldn't amount to constructive dismissal when CW knew what the likely wage restrictions would have been at the start of the season.
In the Princes interview, he also suggests that Wilder moved from the attacking midfielder/forward (presumably Lingard) to a more defensive option, so maybe Wilder also passed on him?
i just found it a bit of an out of the blue question when the Prince had made it known he wasnt going to sack him then with 3 years on his exisiting contract a question comes asking if any talks had been happening, more likely a gentle nudge from his agent to the press ( possibly may have been Radio sheff who asked the question) to get the vultures circling and get the issue that hes not happy and wants a move. That’s not how I read it. It’s just comments he made in an interview that, if I recall correctly, was basically asking if he thought he’d still be in a job next season. Which was a fair question really, considering the circumstances. I did think at the time he’d have been better off just giving the “stock answer” that most managers say when asked that question, along the lines of ‘well it may not be my decision but I’d like to continue’.
In league one with a vastly superior squad to the rest of the division.Danny Wilson, the one regular manager with a better win % than the "beloved"
