Its not just about the result today.If we had been playing well all season and drew today you would see most fans say "one of those days". As it is we've been awful for much of this season and that's why most people are quickly losing patience with the board and team

Adkins has a lot to answer for. Taking Done off minutes after Oldham went down to 10 men was criminal.

Defence astoundingly bad again.

We weren't even that bad. First half wasn't good enough, second half with the amount of chances we created probably should have won it. I hate drawing and losing as much as the next person but for Christ sake get a grip. The reaction at the end of the game was disproportional.

Unless Done was tired what he should've done is brought JCR on for Adams. Adams isn't the best in a scrappy game like that and nor will he stay wide and be an outlet against 10 men. Done is always the most likely to score and will always put defenders under pressure.

Must admit that in 1988 89, we got beaten six times out of eight by Chesterfield, Southend, Gillingham and Aldershot, only beating Aldershot and Gillingham at the lane and losing the rest. All four were relegated, but we got automatic promotion nonetheless.
Somehow I don't think we have the confidence of the DB side of those days.

First half we were poor but changed it up second half even before they were down to ten.

Done missed an easy chance. Billy missed a sitter. Scoogs hit the post. I think. Someone did - it was down the other end. Baxter had a free right foot shot.from the edge of the box and a harder left foot one. Billy put Che through but he was off balance and couldn't stay on his feet.

There were times when we could've moved the ball quicker at the back but generally we played textbook football when they went down to ten.

Sammon had a nightmare and at times it was like we were down to ten.

Incredibly frustrating.

I went today and we should have won easily with the chances created. That said, the first 10 minutes were awful and I'd have settled for a draw at that point.
It's clear that we are not good enough at present we're physically weak in midfield and have no good tacklers. That much was pretty clear to me before the game today but I still went hoping for a win. Having taken the decision to change the manager in summer surely he's got to be given some time to put a team together that he wants and I'm sure that today's team is not Adkins idea of the end product. I'm surprised he's not done something about it yet but let's see.
The jeering from the I want to win not draw, I'm disappointed we deserve better, we're shite, board is shite, Adkins is shite, shite is shite we're doomed crew is I suppose understandable but really is it necessary ?

WHF , overall i still thought we didnt deserve to win and a draw was a fair result in the end . To me the weal link is the midfield .

I have nothing against you mate you're clearly a very loyal Blade but you need to change the record sometimes.
