I used to rate Musampa. Not followed his career, like. Just remember I used to think he looked good.

By my information it s just Dyer on loan for 3 months and the others just triallists

He did win the Dutch Championship, Dutch Cup, Champions League, World Cup en Dutch Charity Shield in 1995 with Ajax....had his best time at Malaga, Athletico Madrid and Bordeaux. Had no club after Man City, trained with Louis van Gaal (trainer of Ajax in 1995) at AZ Alkmaar last season, played 5 games for them and did leave to Korea for the big money, but contract ended after 3months, so he s without a club atm.
He is an experienced attacking midfielder, good technique, would not be a bad player for us, although he is 31

Just for the record, here's the transcript of what I heard this morning, apologies if it doesn't read brilliantly, but people don't always speak on the phone in standard English 
:
"We agreed last night to take on loan till Christmas, Nathan Dyer from Southampton, with Jordan Robertson going the opposite way to Southampton. So that will be completed this morning.
We will be taking in next week Kiki Musampa, Quentin Fortune is arriving on Monday, a Spanish international called Carlos, Carlos Valletta(sp?) all trialling on Monday so it's a busy time at the moment.
I can't show my hand, but there is a lot of things going on behind and its interesting, because you listen to the fans and they are very astute, they know what's going on, they know what's needed. It just takes a bit of time, but, erm.... The interesting thing with Dyer is that I spoke to Harry Redknapp at length yesterday and he tried to sign him in the summer. But with one or two things that went wrong for the kid, it didn't happen so its a good move for the kid, he's only 20/21 and Jordan as well going the opposite way. But it gives us some electric pace which we've needed for a while."
Not heard any of the other apparent name corrections for sure yet, but the above is a direct quote from Blackie himself.

Portsmouth (where I understand he is from / lived) is one of the most scally-ridden shit holes in the UK. I'd imagine for a 19 year old kid with a few quid in his pocket it's pretty easy to get in with the wrong crowd down there. I don't know the ins and outs of the story but I do know Portsmouth. Let's give him a chance.
I'm sure Stevie G and Jamie C picked a few pockets in their youth. I wouldn't have told them to swivel off back to the pool if they'd turned up at the Lane aged 20.
