Last week's match was my first ever "First!" so it may well have been my fault. So I probably shouldn't risk it and be first again...

...ah sod it. First!

I think we will park the bus and west ham like to play on the counter attack so a 0-0 draw

God knows what the team will look like.

For me, Hecky has to be ruthless. All the players were shocking so the axe has to fall on some of them.

Time to have faith in Trusty ;)

Team for me assuming all are fit to start:

Wes

Baldock Trusty Anel Robinson Thomas

Souza

Hamer McAtee

Mcburnie Archer

I want so badly to be optimistic. There's way too much left to play for and I genuinely would have said this time last week we have a good shot at staying up.

I dunno, whatever.

Anyone remember that scene in Mike Bassett when he sends that player on late in the game and says "I don't know you just do what you want" I'm picture that may become the tactic soon.

There's a player in Brewster or at least there was. For us he had an awful introduction season where he came into a side who barely scored that season and he seemed un sharp so to say.

1st season in champ he was starting to hit form under hecky then gets injured.
Last season didn't get going aside from a goal and an assist them got injured and out for 11 months.

He's been injury plagued so hopefully thats behind him.

The positive is its another option to have and if there is any chance he can tap that one time potential then he could well be useful for us. Certainly not writing him off but there are of course red flags over him.

On a purely human front I'm really pleased he's now ready to play again, he must be so frustrated about his own career path last few seasons.

We always seem to have a surprise player of the season who just excels, eg Ndiaye last year.
Maybe Brewster will be this years player.

Remember Basham that first Wilder season he was written off as not being good enough by some and ended up being fantastic that season.

How many changes planned today then?
Any maverick shouts, like Souza in Defence?

After last weeks debacle the priority will be to avoid another thrashing, I expect we produce a disciplined park the bus performance in a 5-4-1 formation and a regulation 2 or 3 nil defeat.

We couldn't afford a £10-12m centre half but I completely agree, he'd be quality there. I loved at half time last Sunday, him bollocking/geeing up Wes and Egan- only bit of that I really saw from anyone, looks a natural leader.

If we're playing one up top ever again it basically means Archer out, Mcburnie in

Although we just about have a squad there really isn't much we can do to change things up due to its thinness and our adherence to a back 5 set up. Be really nice to see some changes and some of the injured players coming back. Like Jebbo or Brewster. Presume even if they are fit it will take Hecky months to bring them off the bench.

Fancied us to get results most games, we get nowt…. Fancy us to get nowt today, maybe we get a result.

Come on Blades give us all a pleasant surprise.
