Is there a good pub near the ground for away supporters? Always enjoyed WBA, similar to BDTBL for atmosphere and generally friendly locals. Plus used to best chicken Balti pies in the country.

If memory serves, there was a good Desi pub about a mile away, called The Vine, I think. Can't remember much about the beers, but the Indian grill in the back was great. From there it's an easy walk along the canal to the ground. Or at least I think it was a canal. It's been a while

Have rarely done this but with Weeds & Mackems both on telly , thought I'd take a look.
Once the dominant Weeds went 2-0 . stuck with other game.
Lasting impression was how utterly rubbish Stoke are - apart from Koumas & Cannon , their players choose the wrong pass every time , can't control the ball , just look like they have no idea.
I imagine both those on-loan players would jump at the chance to join us if we fancied them , but the snag is they wouldn't get 100% game time.

I think it's also on the Sky Football channel - the clashing PL games are all London clubs so if you're in Sheffield I can't see why a Sky pub wouldn't put it on for you.
You can always phone the pub in advance to check
