You can’t take food and drink in (basic human right) but you can take empty plastic bottles less than 500ml. So I’ve bought a pack of fruit shoots 275ml), we will drink them and take empty bottles in and fill them at the water fountains.

Ah, the magic of football (consumerism) strikes again.

How am I going to carry all my half-and-half scarves?

You are also allowed a 500ml clear EMPTY container, to fill at the water fountains.

Found it for you:

Guests may bring a flag into the ground WITHOUT permission from Wembley Stadium should the following guidelines be followed:

On levels 1 - 4

The flag is smaller than 250cm in size at the widest or longest point.

  1. The flag does not have an attached flag pole
  2. In the case of an attached flag pole, it is made from wood and plastic only and is no longer than 1 metre in length and 1cm in diameter.
  3. There is no advertising or commercial message on the flag
  4. The flag does not contain any abusive or defamatory message

On level 5

The flag is smaller than 200cm x 100cm in size at the widest or longest point.

**Please note that flag poles made of metal are not permitted inside the stadium, no matter what size or length the flag / pole is.

Should a guest arrives at Wembley Stadium connected by EE and their flag does not fall under the above guidelines, and they have not gained permission from Wembley Stadium, the flag will be confiscated at the turnstiles and not allowed into the Stadium.

Why have those lists got question marks? Aren't they sure what the rules are?!😆

The big flags we used to have were great, what’s happened to them and why can’t we take anything in like that now? Worlds gone mad!

Had a look and according to something on the Mansfield site from last May, you can take bigger flags, if you succeed in getting permission, 2 weeks in advance....not sure if that's still the case, as didn't notice it in current guidelines, but am not risking my 3 metre one....

I was planning on taking a picnic, just a couple of bread rolls. Why can’t you bring in food and drink? Let me guess. It’s all down to ‘elf an’ safety. OR is it so you have to buy their food and drink at exorbitant prices? I wonder?
