No, not the players and staff this time. After the debates (don't want to start them up again) and requests from the club, I want to acknowledge and thank all fellow Blades for keeping off the pitch at full time, and also not making a peep about Ched Evans. The whole day was about the players and staff, and it was wonderful that they got the congratulations they deserved and enjoyed themselves out on the pitch with their kids.

It's been a long six years, but this season seems to have gone by in a flash. Great day of celebration, was absolutely made up for Billy lifting that trophy as you could see how much this means to him.

Can't wait to get back down the Lane in August.

Yes. Proud of the lot of you. Even dem chavs.

Almost 32k inside the ground too.

Apart from making it really annoying trying to get a pint, fantastic to see.

Have you caught Pigitis ? I think its stretching it to say 31003 is nearly 32k !
31k is still an immense gate at this level or even the one above !

Where I was there were people without seats standing in the aisles. Suspect slightly more than official. Hope it's like that next year

Same near us. Apparently some had managed to get into the wrong section and the stewards let them walk along the edge of the pitch. Most found seats once it settled.

Cheers for saying most of what I wanted to say. Particular thanks to those of you who wanted to go on the pitch, and then did not make an issue of it on the day. I hope you felt how much so many people enjoyed the aftermatch celebration, and how much the players, staff, families enjoyed sharing the moment with the whole crowd. I was particularly taken with Freeman's kid, who seemed to run up and down the pitch just as much as her dad - and be even harder to catch. I enjoyed my day with both my kids, and grandkids - both born and brought up in Birmingham, and keen Blades! The oldest has requested new Blades kit as a birthday present - more income for the club. There were so many young uns there enjoying themselves yesterday, and their enthusiasm will be great for the future of the club. Again, many thanks.

Smiled so much yesterday I think I've pulled a face muscle!
Players and staff's kids belting around the pitch having a fabulous time chasing balloons and wearing magic hats topped it off. You forget sometimes that they're blokes with families just like the rest of us. Freeman's daughter was great but the star was the young un that kept sprinting up to the halfway line and back when they were at the BL end - what a star!

So pleased to hear that the fans did as asked, credit to all.
Gutted I missed it.
