Lol jk for those who get it...

So...
we're in dire straits with JOC out for the season, which we've known for some time.
First half, even when 2-1 down, we were holding our own in pre-lockdown style. Norwood back where he should have been all along made us look like we could create chances but the overall conclusions....
Norwood should start in CM (and shouldn't be subbed at the expense of someone who wants to leave!)
Osborn should replace Lundstram, at least until Fleck's back.
Stevens shouldn't be saddled with the LCH position. Its cost us goals galore because its just not his position (and obviously, no JOC) and it stunts hs real game, which is going forward and covering the left defensive side.
From what we have options-wise, Lowe's not working out in Enda's place. Robinson at LCH, Enda LWB, Osborn LCM until Fleck's fit.
Has Blake had his leg off? Forgot to send Wilder a birthday card? Either way his pace alone scares the bejeesus out of teams. If he doesn't look like scoring... well that shouldn't be any kind of handicap to getting a place, as unfortunately, neither do any of the others £20m+ strikers.
Ramsdale - more or less as good as Henderson, hampered by a defence that isn't as slick now its been derailed by JOCs injury.
As cliche'd as it appears, we really are missing the crowds "12 man" effect. We had a fantastic first season back in the top flight and I'm sure the Garth Crooks' of this world will be delighted to see us in 20th place. We can get out of this but it needs some wise choices from Wilder (feel free to send him this post if you know him ;-) )

Agree with everything apart from 'Ramsdale - more or less as good as Henderson, hampered by a defence that isn't as slick now its been derailed by JOCs injury.'

They are worlds apart unfortunately and I don't think paying so much for Ramsdale is making me feel any better

Unfortunately, our problems virtually begin and end with JOCs injury, so we'll never know for sure but some poor defending cost us the goals tonight I reckon. I'm really loathe to blame Stevens for two of them (and the one against Liverpool) as its just not his position. His picking there reminds me very much of Bruce playing Borbokis there in a 4-4-2 and wondering where the superstar in the making he thought he was getting had disappeared to.

Ey-up Pup. You just fallen back out of a UFO? 😆 Still massaging the old wood? (that's playing guitar for all you pervs).

Yes still twiddling the six string ivories (hang on, that doesn't work??).
Been a while since I posted on here, though I've had a read now and again and tonight's performance left me curious as to the current opinions (as all the FB pages just say GET DARRRN SHEFFIELD 6 or DON'T YOU REMEMBER HOW CRAP WE WERE UNDER ATKINS??? - which gives you an idea of the age range of postees. :p
