To re-iterate what's gone before, and not simply because it's an anti-Wilder piece (you never know it could have been justified), it's an utterly bizarre mis-reading of Wilder's post Liverpool comments. In fact, it shows a complete lack of understanding of the game.

For those who don't know, Andy Dunn is one of those blowhards you regularly appear on Sunday Supplement - the show for football writers to prove why it is they are paid to write about football rather than speak about it. Every one of them shows themselves up as someone who, despite making a living from the game, knows nothing more about it than the average terrace jackass.

He's also one of those annoying twats who prefaces every one of his pronouncements with the word "Listen..." Like he's going to deliver you such a piece of gold-plated wisdom that no further discussion will be necessary. Those twats.

In more recent times he's also taken to not wearing his spectacles. I take this as a sign of the man's stupendous vanity.

I could have more sympathy with him as I got the impression he supports Everton, but this silly column-filler looks like he's suffering from the double whammy of our back-to-back Merseyside matches and the different outcomes they produced. The twat.
