Every club has supporters needing a scapegoat though, so this week it must be the owners turn.

After the owners debacle last summer engaging James Bord and Ruben Selles, would anyone trust them to be able to engage a manager better than Wilder?

Quite interesting this.

We did the FC Köln tour which was all in German (they usually do English but not on Sundays it turns out).

I was trying to get my head round why the tour guide was role playing a conversation berween the FC Koln manager and Xabi Alonso in the press room.

Maybe it’s a better option, less chance for managers to talk nonsense if they aren’t prepared to be challenged.
