me tooI agree
Because perhaps Weir is never going to be a good manager despite being a good player
In all occupations there are people who are superb at one level but can't hack it when they get promoted
We can't leave it until realization dawns that he is never going to make it
You don't know that though. You also don't allow him time to make it at his new level.
We're in dire straights, there's no doubt, but it's nothing new and it's come about by the constant short-term attitudes towards what are deemed rubbish managers and the outcome is always the same; hire someone even more rubbish and repeat the cycle.
I'm as fed up as anyone, but call me crazy, I want to see him have a bit longer.
We don't know but there is no evidence to suggest he does know what he is doing. If we had hit the bar, post a couple of times, lost to dodgy penalties/offside goals, suffered loads of injuries then the manager would have a lot of sympathy.

How long? Six months? A full season? We'll be relegated long before the season has finished if we persist with Weir, I'm afraid. I wanted him to succeed, just as I wanted Danny Wilson to succeed, but David Weir seems not to be management material. It's just a shame he chose to test his skills, or indeed lack thereof, with us.
Still, according to the late unlamented dickhead Mic, I'm a clapper. You non-clappists must be apocalyptically enraged if clappers like me are pissed off with things.![]()
I've seen enough. Creating nothing and no plan b. Time to go I'm afraid.
I'd like to think that at Christmas we won't be in the relegation zone, and then we can judge to give him 'til the end of the season. I'm a long-termist, I also don't think it would benefit us going for a long-term approach that sees us relegated. I think Christmas is the time to judge and the situation assessed then.
Forget it Starblade, its Chinatown.

Because its pointless. People entrenched in an opinion after 7 games? Why? Why not argue your case?
UTB
I don't think he should be sacked but he is walking a tightrope to be honest.
What I will say is that DW definately needs to look at himself and realise that this formation clearly isn't working.

I don't know if Weir is the right appointment, but I think we need to be having this conversation considerably later in the season than September.
